Ray Thakkar serves as Founder and CEO for Atlantic Eagle Hospitality. He is responsible for development, construction, and operations. Ray purchased his first hotel in 1977, in Athens, GA.   

 

He brings with him over 30 years of experience in site development and construction.  He has taken his years of experience and success and distilled it into a hotel management company that is known for excellence in operations and performance.  He has grown Atlantic Eagle Hospitality to over 12 hotels in the State of Georgia, and is currently expanding.

Yogesh Patel - Executive Vice President
Georgia State University
Bachelors Degree: Accounting

Yogesh Patel serves as Executive Vice President and Chairman for Atlantic Eagle Hospitality.
He is responsible for long range strategic planning, acquisitions and development. In addition, he is responsible for negotiating management contracts, refinancing and sales of hotels.

His experience before joining Atlantic Eagle Hospitality includes 15 years of construction and development, involving Holiday Inn Express, Wingate by Wyndham, Country Inn and Suites, Hilton Garden Inn and Comfort Inn and Suites.

Atul Patel - Executive Director of Hotel Operations

Bachelors Degree: Business Administration

 

Mr. Patel has over 20 years experience in the Hospitality business. He works closely with our hotels to maximize our revenues, cost controls and guest satisfaction indexes.

Donnabeth Williams - Office Manager/Human Resources

 

Ms. Williams joins Atlantic-Eagle as the Office Manager and HR Consultant. She has over 16 years Administrative Business Management. Ms. Williams reports directly to Ray Thakkar and assists in all aspects of Atlantic-Eagle development.

Shelley McMahon - Hampton Brand Leader

Ms. McMahon has been in the hospitality business for over 20 years; and with Hampton/Hilton Brand focus for the past 8 years. Shelley has been a regional manager over several Hampton Inns in Atlanta and Hilton Head markets and brings her expertise of the Brand to Atlantic-Eagle Hospitality.
